Default Windows 7 driver&application pack v1.1 [Updated: 25/01/10]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows 7 Driver & Application Pack v1.1
[Updated: 25/01/10]
------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a community built driver and application pack for Windows Se7en. Unfortunately I do not own a UX right now so I am not able to test this pack for reliability, I am also unable to unpack all the executables so the model.txt exists. If any user is willing to unpack and test the whole pack please do

Instructions:

1. Please disable UAC, you can then turn it back on once finished installing everything.

2.Unfortunatley the model.txt has not been removed. You will need to trick model.txt by one of the following methods HERE

3. Start with #1 and work your way to the last #, including / excluding any drivers/applications which do not apply to your model.

Ack crap... now I feel like I need to finish updating and reworking the driver pack! I got caught up in school, so I hadn't the time for it! I'll get that squared away before the weekend! Thanks for posting it!

Hey thanks for helping out the community. No pressure though mate just do it when you have time. Sooner is better of course!

I removed all the old and dead links from the original thread which was started by Scottlfa. Was kinda getting confusing with everyone re-uploading the pack to a free filesharing service.

Hey Sull. Thanks for your package. I used it quite a lot these days (reinstalled win7 3 times in 2 days). But there is something missing. The vaio Camera utility will not work without the image conversion application installed before. All the best!

JUst a note peoples, these are for the 32Bit Windows 7 installs, you will get far worse results with a 64bit install.

With all this talk of 64bit people might get confused. I will add that to the first post

Thanks

I installed last days Windows 7 on my Ux it runs nicely but the button setting program is not installed...
I do not find a link where to download it seperately

Any other question:

The LCD brightness is switching very bad. When I turn on the UX in battery mode the brightness ist set to very low, but I configured it to be medium. When I sitch it to medium and power it on the brightness gets down to low. What is wrong?
Even on the UX with Win7 I have open every foulder in the same windows but windows opens it in a new window. What is wrong?
