Q1U vs UX280- Coming soon

Postby MathProfJohnson » Thu Sep 06, 2007 23:43

Hi everyone-

It was my full intention to write up a review comparing the p1610, Sony UX280, and Q1U after I had a little time to fully review the new item. I have used the Q1U exclusively over the last few weeks, with minimal interaction with the other devices, and I did begin to take pictures and write my thoughts down.

I can do a video demo, I have a Sony HDD camera that I bought last Christmas and has not been used much, but you tell me what you want to know and I will be sure to include it.

MathProfJohnson :)

Sounds great. As they say, variety is the spice of life, a bit of text mixed with some images/video always makes for a fun to read review. I'm looking forward to it.

Would love to see comparisons of:

Relative ease of use of Keyboards (UX and Q1)

Boot/Standby/Hibernate time comparisons

Anything else you see fit to grace us with..TX

PS

I think it's hilarious when you commented in another thread about how you believe your hubby still thinks its your original Q1...LOL.

There must be something about the Q1U buy when it comes to speed. Maybe a good L1 cache, or bus system faster? We will see when someone gets their hands on one of these.

Samsung Q and OQO are dead... only the UX survived and is pretty much alive! :)
