yea you just take out the old one and put in a new one, need to get acquainted with ZIF connectors

Photofast is the brand of SSD.
1.8 ZIF PATA drive will work, any capacity, 256gb is great
ZIF means Zero Insertion Force
a ZIF connector is a tiny latch that takes an FFC (Flat Flexible Cable) once you have the FFC aligned you just press the latch back down, it is not super hard they are just really delicate.
there was a good post about hard drive replacement a moth or two ago, in the post the disassembly manual was posted along with specific info about the ZIF connector. I don't have time to find the post right now, but I am sure if you do a serch for ZIF you'll find that post and many others with tons of info on subject
