agree with cehopy1st, I hardly use my function keys in the dark, which includes numlock, print screen etc. and when the exception comes when you need to use those keys, just use onscreen keyboard

I type in chinese, and the chinese IME requires using the PgUp/Dn keys for selecting a character. I'm using a pinyin IME. I only have up to elementary school knowledge for chinese, so I don't know how to write the complex characters to do handwriting softwares, have to rely on pinyin, and the pinyin IME uses PgUp/Dn keys
masterfu, I am sure after a few times you wil know which key is the funtion key, being the one that does not illuminate and the pgup and pgdown keys being the up and down arrow which does illuminate.
