What do you all think about the HTC Shift?
Copied and pasted from the comment I left : )
Wow its looks really nice, but whats with this - all these companies coming out with these UMPC’s that have very similar specs as the UX, but really expensive. If anything, make a new UMPC with better specs, or a new UMPC with more features. All this thing has over the UX is a few extra connectivity options.

Ive always been a HTC fan, all my last PDAs have been them and I think this it! If its small enough, it could get rid of my phone and my UX.
Want to win some PRO Cycling kit, go to Free Stuff at http://www.adamhansen.com
It has a 7" screen, so it is too big to fit in your pocket. That is enough for me not to buy it.
The only way I'd sell my UX would be for a device with the same or better specs, had a cell phone built in, had GPS, and could still fit in my pocket.
I do think that HTC will be a real contender in this market though. They have great products. It will be interesting to see the 2nd and 3rd generation UMPC from HTC.

A fine looking UMPC indeed and if HTC (whom I’ve bought 2 splindid pocket pc based phones from before the PPC6600 & 6700) had managed to squeeze those same specks into say the HTC advantage I’d fear that my UX might indeed need a once over in the upgrade department. Be that as it may the 7 inch UMPC form factor is a tatste to big in my belief to be pocketable and therefore not micro so it’s going to give all faithful Tablet PC owners somthing consider. But for me its Micro PC because I’m a fan of pocketable computing.
