Mini Preview of HTC Shift
It looks promising... does it support GPS for sure? And the brochure, it's about the final specs?
Thanks

Looks good i have the HTC 7500 just throw a data sim in and off it goes onto the net (unlike the Sony UX480p) but the problem is always the same no working java. Just read all the spec this baby will have windows vista so java will not be a problem. I will be saving up and selling the Sony to buy one of these it looks like it will do everything i had hoped the UX280p would do.

You could always use the usb cable or do it through bluetooth...
Really - who wants to be caught up in this caper they call work...
Sony Vaio UX-17GP (with cracked screen and about to be replaced - who knows with what though)
Windows XP

And now a 46" Bravia X-Series!
iPhone 3G
Blackberry Bold
Asus M51
Addicted to technology? Not me!

If you mean use a data sim to access the net using a UX480p you can only use a usb or bluetooth if you have a phone (modem) account then if you had that you would just use the modem on the Sony.. The UX480p will not work like the HTC 7500 you cannot just put a data sim in and let it connect using 2g or 3g you have to have a phone number i.e a modem account. I have a T-Mobile data sim account just put it into any phone or place it into a PCMCIA card to use in a laptop.
