Crunchbang Linux #!

I've had ubuntu on my ux for years, however, it was starting to get slow and feel sort of glutted. After talking to a friend I made the move to Crunchbang. Its based on ubuntu but its minimal and uses openbox. Everything pretty much works, obviously the camera's and that sort of thing doesn't, but all the normal stuff like touchscreen etc, even the composite tv out on the stand works without any setup.

How did you fix the sensitivity of the stick corrected? I have a 380 and haven't been able to correct the stick issue, thus it currently runs windows and I NEVER use it as everything I tend to need to do requires my linux based tools.

Generally my 280p is docked with a mini-travel mouse connected. I haven't adjusted the mouse at all. The sensitivity is still an issue on the default mouse. It does seem a little less sensitive tho compared to some older ubuntu installs I've had. Openbox is super customizable, I'm sure its something that could be easily fixed. Worst case you just turn off the tap sensitivity and use the mouse buttons on the opposite side of the screen.

Nobody ever reported succesfuly disabling the "tap sensitivity" of the pointer. Please enlighten me about how this should be so trivial to do.

ah well, I probably read this before and thought re-compiling kernel just for this wasn't worth it especially because I'm using a rolling distro. still looking for a more simple approach.

Hey I have read about your problem. I had the same problem which you are suffering. I have reformatted my system and all of the hardware as well as the whole system works best now. So according to me you should do it.
