Man, why would you want to run OSX with so many limitations...

I am continuously changing brightness depending on my surroundings. In low ambient light max brightness is way too bright, and in bright outdoor use max brightness works a treat. In general I try to keep my brightness 2 levels above the lowest for power saving.

As for sleep, I use it all the time. Having to wait and restart your application rather than resume from off is annoying, and reduced the functionality of this portable device

Not really an issue for me bigs I work from 10am to 7pm most days so I only
really use a computer when I am at home.

I agree if I needed a PC with me all day then the brightness thing would be
a killer. As for sleep, I have never used it on any laptop I own, as I see it
as just wasting battery while I am not using the thing.

Especially with the fact the ssd boots so quickly anyway.

hehe my ubuntu install boots up quicker than osx ;) When i first installed ubuntu lucid it booted like in 8 second flat from power on.

I just like to keep web pages I was reading previously open and able to read them quickly when I power on the ux.

For me the ux, is used a bit like a pda. ie I carry it around with me, but a very powerful pda whereby I can diagnose network issues etc on site without having to carry a laptop everywhere.

How many people have switched to OS lion yet? I downloaded the software from the app store tonight and so far thing there are some nice features. The software was under 30 dollars if I remember correctly so it's purchasing it was an easy decision for me.
I need to find a iphone 4 app that wil give me updates on the status of my current seo chicago project. Do any apps exist that could give me that analytic information I need?
