Okay... I'm recovered myself :p

Before shifting to Leopard, I will post all the required info to update your copy to latest v10.4.10. It's on the wild also the .11 but it's really on the early beta stages...

Without going through this entire enormous thread.. can someone answer some quickies?

I've got a Leopard install on a HDD, so I popped it into a USB2 enclosure, through some patches on it from one of the opendarwin forums, and fired it up on my new UX .. and it worked! (Yes, I have a legit copy of OSX.. can take pics if you really must :P)

Anyway, the known issues showed up; network was shot I think, and the mouse nub was a mess.

Q: In another sticky, someone has a kext fix that supposedly makes the mouse nub work? Anyone have an idea?

Q: Wifi .. working these days? I've seen a lot of older 'no it doesn't', but some recent 'yes it works' and some 'its flaky but sort of working'.. whats the real status these days?

It'd be a blast to get OSX on this little box, but I'm hesitant :) (I'd fiddle more myself, but forgive me .. we've got a young baby around so I haven't much time for random fiddling :(

Thats True, thanks to vista, now i use OSX on my UX as main os. Even without few small things like touchscreen and camera its still MUCH MORE STABLE and rather FASTER. I use Macs for 6-7 years. After i bought UX i tried Vista cause it was pre-installed and my choice is
OSX even without touchscreen and camera and memory card reader. To use this hardware i installed XP as second os....

Since my mac laptop is dual boot, my UX is not getting any love lately so I was thinking about finally converting it to a mac. But since I now no longer can live without Cover Flow in the Finder, has there been any new developments with getting Leopard on the UX?

I saw on the OSX86 boards that people are getting Leopard on their other PCs but didn't see anything specific to the UX. Wanted to see how it was going or goes.
