Hi & welcome to the forum (not very much activity here anymore). So if you have the Sony U50 - the micropc that does not have a built in keyboard- then I have read that you have to look for a 1.8" pata (Parallel- ATA or also called IDE) ssd with a 50 pin connector ( NOT one with a ZIF connector or a 44 pin connector). It looks something like a large Compact Flash card. This form wasn't very popular so you'll have to see what's available. I believe something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-32GB-Internal-PATA-SSD-Drive-1-8-/252619248212?hash=item3ad147d254:g:07AAAOSwNRdX~Atl should work. I've also read that you might have trouble fitting an 8mm thick drive into the U, so do some research on the specs of whatever drive you find to see if it is 5mm thick.
The sony UX series have the built-in slide down keyboard & uses a 1.8" pata drive with a 40 pin ZIF connector.
