That is the same file I posted, guess Sony UK does not repack with model check, makes me wonder wtf ... why why model.txt why.....

hay when i am trying to install 380 bios,it says there needs to be vista installed,i have xp of course,anyways to get by that and still the bios?

Hi all !

Apologies for raising old thread. :(

I have UX17GP and I have a question regarding BIOS:


I've updated BIOS with Sony UK using link anh provided and it seems that fan inside is powering up more often than before and it's more audible. Is that possible or is it just my imagination ? :)

Can I revert to older BIOS somehow ?

What do you mean, normal ? :)

It worked quieter before, now fan is kicking on and off every 30 secs. Is there a reason for that change or ? It's really annoying when I use UX in quiet place...
