yes, first the driver : Sony Visual Communication Camera VGP-VCC3 Driver v1.6.202.0
after #27 VAIO Camera Utility v1.1.00.03150 and at the end #28 VAIO Camera Capture Utility v2.0.00.14050

If i want to reinstall properly, i need to remove in the same order (driver, utility..) there is other driver or apps to test the camera ?

check Sony support under 280P section. I doubt there is an older driver though. Never remember the driver being updated just the application.

Sull86!

Thanks so much for your driver and app Pack! I finally got fed-up with my UX380N getting ready to die with Vista that I had to give your XP pack a try. Thank God I did!! She flys now!!! I did have an unusual situation when unpacking the NIC driver (Yukon). RAR said that the file name was to long, so I popped the Yukon driver from the Yukon website into the empty extracted folder and it loaded fine. Not sure why this occured but every function is working! Thanks again!

Thank you for your application pack, it is very nice to have XP instead of that sluggish Vista.

I installed all the drivers in order, yet the camera on the BACK doesn't work. Windows doesn't recognize it at all. (In Device Manager, there is only one element under Imaging Devices: the front camera, which works perfectly.)

What can be the problem?

Edit: I am using the 380n.

Im reinstalling widows xp from an external cd Not From Recovery Partition. Is it necessary to reboot after each driver install? Or can I cancel the reboot and install all the drivers and reboot after last one? Very newbie question, I know, but just wanna make sure.... Thanks!

Yes, you should definitely restart whenever it tells you to otherwise some components won't install correctly.

Well I use to use a silent installation method which only restarted once everything was installed, so it could potentially work fine without restarting, but honestly just do what it asks of you :)

Right click on the .inf file and hit install instead...

And your XP in 32bit or none of the driver would have worked...
