OK. found out why I got the low score. My Comodo Firewall was running when I ran WinSat. It's back at 2.6 now. PHEW !

Well that is why :p jk, just try extracting the installer and then run the setup.exe.

Aussie, the Vista driver requires at least 1GB. The XP driver requires a minimum of 512MB.

Do the latest Intel generic drivers work all right on the UX-380N while on battery? Sony's latest repackaged ones seem to flicker and blank out a lot on me when running with the battery, and I had issues coming out of sleep the last time I tried the Intel generic ones.

Tried to download both the exe and zip versions, but get the "cant install on your computer message.

I got around this last time by downloading the zip version, but doesnt work this time - can anyone help?!

Intel graphics media update 15.8

Well, got it to work by uninstalling the old version and then installing the new one. Just like last time the screen went blank....and had toswitch off.

Anyway, it installed ok on reboot.

Didnt change my vista score. Cant believe it still shows my TZ as 2 overall still. Its way zippier than my old uxs, being the 64gig flash and 200gb hard drive with 1.33 core duo.

I had the exact same problem with the screen flickering, and then totally going blank.. its driving me nuts how the hell do I fix it ?

ok but the only old drivers they have are for vista and im running xp, so how do I get them to work on xp ?
