Not sure how many of you were aware of this, but Sony has an online site for parts and accessories -- many of which you won't find anywhere else. I had no idea this existed until recently, so here's a link for parts for a 280p:
VGN-UX280P parts and accessories
You can search for your specific model in the field to the right.
Sony Direct Parts Center
I'm gonna sticky this just so its around when people need it, thanks : P

A note to those NOT in America - you'll have to find the american equivalent and use that as they wont have anyhing else in stock there. The one good thing with the exception of the black or silver housings there is no "part" difference between them all i.e. a housing for a UX-180 is the same as the 390 except its black instead of silver...
Really - who wants to be caught up in this caper they call work...

I wanted an extra telescoping stylus incase I loose mine ... I checked on Amazon and they had some good deals (down to $17 but shipping was 25 or 30 dollars!!! also when ordering from the US there's always a chance I might get dinged for brokerage ($20 ++)
On top of that a lot of Amazon vendors won't ship that product to Canada and there seems to be no way to find out, until you try to place an order and it's not accepted.
Finally I came across this sticky and checked out Sony's Canadinan Site (sony.ca)... they ship from within Canada AND there's NO charge for shipping!
I got a 2 pack of styluses (stylii?) for $24.95 :0)
(djwoody: for the Dock try ebay)
